Privacy Policy

Effective: August 30, 2026 · replaces the August 20, 2026 version

Quacklets is made to be played, not to harvest your data. Here is exactly what happens, split between the game itself and the quacklets.com website, because they are different.

The game (Android app & the game itself)

No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
No data collection by the app. The Android app contains no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs.
Local-only saves. Your high score, coins, and unlocked characters are stored only on your own device (or in your own browser for the web version). Deleting the app or clearing browser data deletes them.
No data sharing or selling. The app collects nothing, so there is nothing to share or sell.

The website (quacklets.com)

The website — the landing page and the browser version of the game — uses two standard Google services:

Google Analytics 4 measures anonymous usage (page views, approximate region, device type) so we can see whether anyone is playing. It uses cookies/identifiers set by Google. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Google AdSense may show advertisements on web pages and uses cookies to do so; depending on your consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. See how Google uses ad cookies and manage preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Both services are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not run any tracking of our own, and we never see who you are — only aggregate numbers.

The merch waitlist

If you join the merch waitlist, we store only the email address you give us, with the date you signed up, on Cloudflare infrastructure.
It is used solely to email you about Quacklets merch — no other marketing, and it is never shared or sold.
Want off the list? Email us (below) and we will delete your address.

Children's privacy

The game collects no personal data from anyone, including children. The website's analytics and ads are the standard Google services described above; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the merch waitlist is intended for adults.

Changes

If this policy changes (for example, if optional online leaderboards are added), this page will be updated before the feature ships, and the app's store-listing data-safety declarations will be kept in line with what the app actually does.
